The movie is a total disappointment after such a good, superhit music. For all those who go to watch the movie, after listening to the songs and watching some promos, its a waste of time and money. Even though the songs are good, your patience will be tested by the 7 songs in the movie!
Many scenes are very boring in the movie. Its like an achievement to sit till the climax. Harsha, who directed Geleya, fails in this movie horribly. Hachchi is a fisherman, who is lost in the sea when he was a child. He becomes the leader of that small village Besanduru and goes to bangalore to make sure his people are getting paid properly. His mother comes to the same village and starts living there. Some scenes where she feels that her son is in that village itself and a breeze comes out of nowhere, are far from reality. His childhood friend, anju loves him from her childhood itself, but he never realizes it and starts loving a girl in bangalore, whom he never met before. The climax is also unconvincing. The whole story is far from reality. The main plot being the mother finding her son moves in all the directions except that.
Chetan has improved as an actor. Tara and Sitara have done justice to their roles. Its a relief to listen to 3 beautiful songs amidst the movie. Best of the lot is Madhura pisumaatige. Choreography is also excellent. Other hits being Helbide helbide and Hoovina baanadante are also nicely picturised. The jokes are all cheap and you can hardly laugh at them. The comedians in the movie are all irritating. The movie is a disaster. The only highlight of the movie is the actor Kishor, who plays a cop. His jokes are the only ones remaining in your mind when you come out of the movie.
Harsha should have stayed only in the choreography field rather attempting to write a new story and direct it. He fails miserably. Even chetan's looks doesn't help. Its not a surprise even if half the theater becomes empty before the climax!
